Keri is passionate about the Outdoors and Education. She has worked in this field for the past 35 years. She has a degree in Physical Education and instructed for Outward Bound both in Aotearoa and Internationally. Keri teaches at Dunstan High School in Alexandra.
She believes in the magic that being in the outdoor environment can do. The potential it gives for people to grow, to share, be challenged and inspired.
Keri is committed to volunteering and giving back to community. She served on the New Zealand Himalayan Trust Board for 6 year in an Education role and has been part of Education delivery on the ground in Nepal. She has been involved in a number of community projects here in Central Otago.
Keri and her partner have raised two daughters in beautiful Central Otago and are grateful to be part of a wonderful community. Keri describes the Outdoors as her “happy place” and is often found with family and friends out there having adventures. She brings experience to the board in Education, risk management, policy and good Governance practice.
Journeys encompasses all that she lives by and she feels privileged to be involved in such a wonderful local organisation.

Megan is a physiotherapist and mum of three and has lived in Central Otago her whole life apart from when at university. She started exploring the concept of a girls outdoor programme with a particular focus on growing confidence and connecting people in 2017, but it wasn’t until the right people came together that the inaugural pilot and subsequent creation of the Journeys Charitable Trust were able to happen in 2019. Megan brings passion and creativity to the Journeys board and is highly motivated and organised, forming a valuable link between the governance and operational activities.
